Join us at Taurus Wines on Whipley Manor Farm for an insightful evening masterclass in our beautifully renovated, 400-year-old barn in the heart of the Surrey Hills.
We've worked with industry-leaders RIEDEL for many years and we're delighted to be welcoming them to Taurus to give us a masterclass on how different glassware affects your enjoyment of specific wines.
The masterclass will start with a glass of champagne as an aperitif at 7pm, and the class itself will begin at 7.30pm. Our RIEDEL representative will then talk us through the Veloce Tasting Set, alongside the appropriate wines for each glass. Two whites and two reds will be served, with nibbles to help the wine along! Discover how the shape and size of your glass affects your perception of aroma and flavour. Each of the glasses in this set has been developed in a RIEDEL Sensory Workshop, designed to elevate and balance particular grape varieties for the ultimate experience in wine enjoyment. Made of clear crystal glass, each set will see you through from both fresh (Sauvignon Blanc) and oaked (Chardonnay) whites, to Pinot Noir and then a heavier Cabernet Sauvignon.

The four different RIEDEL glasses that you taste from during the masterclass will then be yours to take home (RRP £125) - all included in the price of the ticket. More glasses will be available to purchase on the night at a special discounted rate.

Cancellation policy: We cannot reserve places at wine tastings without payment. We always understand when circumstances change, however due to excessive cancellations in the past (which sadly led to us having to stop running our Wine School) we now have this policy in place: If you cancel up to one week before the event we will issue a full refund; between one week and 48 hours before the event, we will issue a full refund, but only if we can resell your ticket at full face value; we cannot offer a refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event.
