The world's most awarded single-malt Scotch whisky, Glenfiddich 12 year old, in its characteristic triangular bottle, is part of the distillery's flagship collection. Light and easy-drinking, it has a freshness that must in part come from using the same water source that was used when the distillery first started making whisky in 1887.
Fresh and fruity with a hint of pear, the 12 year old has been matured in a mixture of Oloroso & Bourbon casks made from American & European Oak, which impart a medley of nuanced soft butterscotch, cream, and subtle spice flavours. The long, smooth and mellow finish makes it perfect for both seasoned sippers or those wanting to dip their toe into the world of whisky.
Fun Fact: Glenfiddich translates as ‘Valley of the Deer’ in Gaelic.
