The origins of the Ca dei Frati Estate date back to 1782, when a dwelling with a wine cellar near Sirmione, by the name of 'Frati', was first documented. Today, with the Dal Cero family at the helm, they are well-established as one of the top producers not only in the Lugana region, but across the entirety of Italy.
Fruit for this wine came from two vineyards, 'I Frati' in Sirmione and 'La Tur' in Desenzano where yields are kept at well below average for the region, ensuring high quality. Pale pink in colour with a touch of 'onion skin' orange, this wine is zesty, fresh and vibrant with aromas of summer pudding and strawberries with a lovely refreshing finish.
