Domaine Saint Louis, today under their 7th generation of family ownership, farm their vineyards organically and regeneratively in the Languedoc region of southern France. Their Grenache-Marselan blend is full-bodied, yet fresh and structured. No oak, this is a fruit-forward blend, brimming with dark cherries and blackberries. It's bold and rich, with good acidity to balance, and an earthy, savoury quality there too. The finish is long, with notes of violet and dark spice. Perfect with BBQ red meats, roast lamb, charcuterie or pan-seared duck breast.
