The fruit from this wine comes from the clay-limestone soils of the Vigneto al Lago vineyard in the Collecorvino region of Abruzzo, at 160m above sea level. There's white peach and citrus fruit on the nose, with a slight nuttiness there too. On the palate, the wine is rich and layered with ripe stone fruits, balanced by a freshness and salinity, and followed by a lightly spiced finish. Delicious with seafood.
