Pale straw in colour with youthful hints around the rim. On the nose, there are aromas of citrus blossom and honeysuckle flower. The palate is clean and bursting with citrus fruit, mandarin, bergamot, lemon, grapefruit and lime with lemon meringue flavours present on the long finish.

Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling 2016 was judged outstanding in the 2018 Halliday Wine Companion. "From Colin Kroehn's vineyard planted in 1912, hand-picked and small batch fermented. It's very high acidity of 8.8g/l and pH of 2.91 put it fairly and squarely into (normally) German territory, and it has been fermented into dryness. The wine will live for decades, and counter to my usual practice, the points are for 2020+, not today. Screwcap 10.5% alc. Rating 95."

Ready to drink immediately or cellar for decades. Pair it with Asian Crab Salad.
