Chardonnay
6x75cl * 13% ABV * Burgundy, France
The Leflaive family have been producing some of Burgundy's top wines for four generations and counting. Even their Bourgogne Blanc is full of top-notch fruit from communes including Puligny and Meursault, creating a wine that is zipping with lemon freshness, balanced out by the smoothness from oak.
Citrus aromas are followed by richness and minerality on the palate, with good depth and length. The wine has been aged for fourteen months, five of which are in stainless steel. Only 80% of the wine sees oak (10% new), with the rest remaining in stainless steel vats. Drink through to 2031. Serve before the meal as an apéritif or with fish, shellfish etc. as well as certain cheeses such as Brie or Mont d'or.
Please note prices are in-bond and exclude VAT and duty, which are payable when the wines land, Autumn 2026
