A vibrant and juicy expression of Sangiovese from the sun-drenched coast of Southern Tuscany, produced at the Cecchi family's Val delle Rose estate. Here in Maremma, hot days are tempered by cooling maritime breezes, combining ripeness of fruit with a fresh acidity in the wines.
The Rosamante is a very pretty wine, with wild cherry and floral aromas characteristic of a Sangiovese-led blend. There's a savoury quality to the palate which adds complexity, with dried herbs and an earthy, balsamic edge. A perfect wine for grilled meats or tomato-based dishes. Also delicious served lightly chilled with antipasti, or on its own.
