Neprica Primitivo comes from Masseria Maìme in Upper Salento, near San Pietro Vernotico, and showcases the distinctive character of Puglia. The growing season produced healthy, aromatic grapes, which were destemmed, gently crushed, fermented and aged in stainless steel after undergoing malolactic fermentation. The result is a wine that offers aromas of red fruit, black cherries, plums and candied oranges together with delicate hints of dog rose and liquorice. On the palate, it is savoury and well-structured, followed by a pleasant and fruity finish.
