A portion of the 25-30 year old vines are situated on the Saint Christophe des Bardes slope, the rest are situated on the gravel soils of Saint Sulpice. Matured for 12-15 months in barrel (30% new).
Concentrated dark fruits on the nose with cigar box and autumnal leaves. Blackberry and cured meat with a vein of minerality. Full bodied with chunky but pleasing tannins and a depth that carries through to a long finish.
Excellent with Côte de Boeuf.
