The Greffet estate is a small, six-hectare plot in the Maconnais region at the foot of Burgundy. The winery is modern, but the winemaking is traditional, using a mixture of old oak foudres and barrels to ferment fruit from 45-year-old vines.
From chalky soils, the wine is rich, yet elegant with peach and pear flavours and a beautiful minerality.
It pairs beautifully with shellfish or risotto.
