Charles-Louis de Noüe arrived in Slovenia in 2019 with a rich family history of wine making in Burgundy. Armed with a passion for finding the most authentic and prestigious terroirs for growing vines, he brought some abandoned Brda vineyards back into production and launched Vini Noüe-Marinic with his Slovenian partner.
"Golden straw yellow. Classy nose of sweet-savoury, complex oak with hazelnut
touches, wet stones and a hint of oyster shell and acacia honey. Ripe lemon with a
stony, minerally layer underneath. Focused, linear lemon and green-peach fruit filled
out with just-perceptible oak. Very long and complex and in need of further bottle
age."
