Château Le Crock sits in the heart of Saint-Estèphe, on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, nestled between two of the appellation’s greatest names, Château Montrose and Château Cos d’Estournel. Owned by the Cuvelier family - also proprietors of the celebrated Château Léoville Poyferré in Saint-Julien - it enjoys the same level of care and expertise as their Grand Cru Classé estate. Recognised as a Cru Bourgeois in 1992 and elevated to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in 2003, Le Crock has steadily built a reputation for producing wines of depth and refinement that consistently over-deliver.

The style is true to Saint-Estèphe: structured and precise, yet with a supple, polished edge that makes it approachable, even in its youth. Expect a wine with freshness, depth, and length, where firm tannins are balanced by generous fruit. This is classic Left Bank character at remarkable value. Drink now, or keep for a couple of years.

'Lovely spiciness and dark-fruit character with hints of walnuts and hazelnuts. Medium body. Firm tannins and a flavourful finish' 92-93pts, James Suckling

'The 2018 Le Crock is soft, supple and easy-going, all of which make it a good choice for drinking now and over the near and medium term. Even though the heat is evident in the wine's radiant fruit and textural richness, the 2018 retains lovely floral infused top notes that add brightness' 88-91pts, Antonio Galloni
