Nebbiolo

The Langhe Nebbiolo Occhetti is produced at the historic Prunotto estate, owned by Marquis Antinori, It is situated in the heart of the Langhe DOC, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The 2023 growing season featured a warm and dry spring, followed by heavy rainfall in mid-May and summer storms, with hand-harvested. The grapes were hand-harvested and aged for 12 months in barrels, followed by an additional four months in bottle prior to release.
The nose is fragrant and expressive, combining floral aromas of violets and roses with red fruit notes of raspberries and cherries. The palate is well-defined, with silky tannins and good acidity. On the finish, there is a hint of liquorice and a subtle minerality.
