Bocca di Lupo, situated at 250 meters above sea level in the Murgia region near Minervino Murge, sits upon chalky soils ideal for high-quality, organic vineyards. For this wine, Aglianico was harvested at peak ripeness in early October, and aged in French oak barriques. On the nose, aromas of violets and cherries are layered with subtle notes of vanilla and cloves. On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with elegant, well-integrated tannins and a savoury finish. It pairs beautifully with roasted red meats, mushroom risottos, and aged cheeses.
