Karia Chardonnay - named after the Greek word for grace - is a perfect blend of fruit from select cool-climate vineyards across the Napa Valley. Each site offers a distinct contribution to the wine: Carneros adds bright citrus and mineral notes, Arcadia Vineyard provides delicate floral and fruit aromas, Oak Knoll imparts juicy apple and pear character, and Atlas Peak brings richer texture and subtle lemon-lime nuances. Grapes were harvested in the cool early morning, whole-cluster pressed, and gently fermented with subtle oak and malolactic influence.
On the nose, the aromas are refined and layered, combining ripe mango, honeydew melon and peach, along with lime, apple, and subtle floral undertones. On the palate, the wine is rich yet vibrant, with bright fruit, delicate vanilla spice, and a clean, citrusy finish that lingers. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with seafood, particularly grilled or baked fish, as well as roasted or grilled poultry.
