This Douro red is made from a blend of the best of the indigenous grapes across La Rosa's estate, matured for 12 months in French oak (70% old). The nose is expressive and aromatic, bursting with ripe dark fruits of blackberries and damsons. Well-integrated tannins lend the wine structure on the palate. It is textured, earthy, and spiced with a slight floral note on the finish. This is a food wine to be enjoyed now-2034.
