Bodega Hacienda Lopez de Haro work with a network of trusted grape growers across the Rioja region. Their 2019 Reserva is made with the best Tempranillo and Graciano grapes, hand harvested from a selection of old vineyards in the Sonsierra area on the terraces of the Ebro. After two weeks of maceration, the wine is aged for 20 months in French and American oak barrels before further aging in bottle.
This wine is powerful on the nose, with ripe fruit aromas alongside spicy, balsamic notes and a hint of vanilla. The palate is round and balanced, with ripe sweet tannins and a persistent finish. Pair with grilled or roast meat like lamb chops, venison stew, or beef tenderloin.
