A delicious and fresh Bacchus that's not overpowering like some Bacchus can be but also plenty of aromas and flavours to deliver a really well made Bacchus wine.
The diversity of aromas range from herbal (basil, sage, nettle) to citrus (lime, grapefruit) to fruit (medlar, mango, passionfruit) to floral (elderflower). The Bacchus grape variety originated in Germany in the 1930s as a cross between Muller-Thurgau and Silvaner x Riesling, hence the wonderfully complex nature of its resulting wine.
Enjoy this English wine with soft cheeses (especially those wrapped in nettle) and seafood linguine.
