Winemaker Laurent Daniel is the 7th generation of his family making wine on this estate, the main parcel of which is in the southern part of Les Dentelles de Montmirail (the foot hills of the famous Mont Ventoux in the Vauclause region of France). Two other parcels overhang the village of Gigondas, contributing to the rich complexity of this wine.
Each of the family's vineyards are cultivated using the French Agriculture Raisonée method - a form of environmentally aware farming - and every bottle of Daniel's wine proudly bears the 'High Environmental Value' label on it.
And the wine? Freshly crushed black fruits and cassis dominate, but there's a crunchy fresh bite to it too. This particular vintage received a Gold medal at Vinalies France 2024 Competition of the French Oenologists, and a Silver medal at the General Agricultural Competition in Paris 2024.
