Take advantage of our special parcel of Bollinger-owned Langlois jeroboams packed in individual wooden boxes, for all your festive celebrations in the run up to Christmas and through to New Year.

Founded in 1885 upon the marriage of Edouard Langlois and Jeanne Chateau, Langlois has been specialising in the wines of the Loire for more than 130 years, driven by an uncompromising pursuit of quality. In 1973 the Bollinger Group took ownership, having been won over by the unique heritage and terroir.

The grapes for the Brut non-vintage are sourced from six quality terroirs: Cotes de Saumur, Coteaux de Leger, Puy Notre Dame, Bas Layon, Haut Layon and Montreuil Bellay, all of which have predominantly chalky soils. The grapes are entirely hand picked, then immediately fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of the grapes. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle (using the same traditional method that is used in Champagne) and the wine is matured on lees for a minimum of 24 months in the winery's cool cellars.

Light lemon in colour, with fine, delicate and persistent bubbles. Racy and vibrant, with bready notes, quince, peach, zesty citrus freshness and just a hint of the familiar waxed-lemon notes found so often in Chenin Blanc, a grape variety so clearly suited to sparkling wine due to its fine acidity. The Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc add fruitiness, structure and depth.

"...the exemplary Langlois-Chateau Crémant de Loire Brut NV, a strikingly fine sparkler from Saumur. Blended from Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, it's as fine a non-vintage French fizz as you'll find. And given that it's owned by Bollinger you still get a touch of Champenois stardust."  Jonathan Ray, The Field, November 2019
