Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvedre
75cl * Sustainably-made * 13.5% ABV * Côtes du Rhône, France
Château Beauchene is possibly better known to you through its stunning Côtes du Rhône reds and whites, and its Châteauneuf-du-Pape - a Taurus favourite. Pavillon is the château’s rosé and it’s focused on fruit and freshness, with the result being an explosion of fresh and crunchy red fruits. Yet, the finish is light, leaving you refreshed and wanting just one more sip.
On the nose there’s notes of raspberry and blackberry, plus lychee, and a hint of liquorice, while the palate follows through with excellent balance. Serve between 12°C and 14°C with classic Caprese salad, Beef Thai red curry, grilled red mullet.
Drink within 2 to 3 years.
"Deep peach in hue, this rosé is composed of 35% Cinsault, 35% Grenache, with the remaining split between Mourvèdre and Syrah. The palate is delicate with pithy citrus and ripe grapefruit tones and finishes with pulverized stones. A simple rosé to enjoy now." 88 / 100 points, Wine Enthusiast (2022 vintage)
