Coda di Volpe

Legend has it that God wept when he saw a perfect patch of land that surely must have been stolen by Lucifer from heaven. Where his tears fell, the vines grew and from these vines comes this wine.
In a more verifiable account, we hear that these grapes come from ancient vines planted on the edge of the now dormant Mt Vesuvius. Straw yellow, with refined and intense aromas of ripe fruits, such as pineapple, peach, gorse and a typical hint of liquorice. Soft and well-structured on the palate, it develops agreeable notes of tropical fruit and minerals. A very food-friendly wine, ideal as an aperitif, with risottos, seafood dishes and fresh fish. Best served at 10°C.
