This stunning still-shaped decanter bottle of small batch bourbon is named for the founders of the distillery. Distilled in the traditional pot still method, using the original mash bills that Thompson used in 1937 and then aged in new American oak casks.
Initial notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak on the nose. There is honey and caramel to balance the spiciness of rye and the palate reveals complex notes of lemon, black tea, butterscotch, citrus, and nut. Add a little water to discover bananas and milk chocolate. This unique bourbon delivers a symphony of nuanced flavours and a well-balanced complexity.
