Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
150cl * 12% ABV * Champagne, France
The Germar Breton vineyard is located in the village of Colombé-la-Fosse, in the south-east of Champagne, where nature offers particularly generous soil and sunshine. It is made up of 7.5 hectares planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 4 communes of Barsuraubois. The climatic conditions as well as the clay-limestone soil offer excellent grape growing conditions and a lightness which brings finesse, power and freshness to their Champagne.
The Brut cuvée is made up of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir and combines a powerful and fruity nose with a round, fresh and long finish. The perfumed and rich nose expresses aromas of yellow fruits, roasted fruits, toasted walnuts and honey. The palate is structured and fresh, plentiful fine bubbles bring richness. Elegant flavours of ripe apple flesh, and red and exotic fruits are underpinned by a slight vegetal note and a hint of almond.
Brut cuvée will see you through from aperitif to dessert. It will pair perfectly with delicate scallops, nutty Parmesan, as well as famous Reims's biscuit.
