With an average age of 12 years, the Classic Rutherglen Muscat has greater levels of richness and complexity than the foundation style which has more floral, marmalade flavours.
Exhibiting the beginnings of mature wood aged characters produced from extended maturation in oak, this is the colour of dark, caramelised butter. The 12 year old Muscat is full of Turkish delight, cocoa and espresso aromas. Highly awarded for its complex palate of toffee, rich raisin fruit, rose petal, Christmas pudding and dried fig, it is perfectly balanced, with a finish that is long but not too sweet.
Consume within two years of purchase. It will keep for some months once opened.
