Gewurztraminer

Alsace is the source of many of the world's finest wines, but remains a chronically underrated wine region and thus offers immense value to drinkers and collectors. With its floral aroma, spicy flavour and rich texture, Gewurztraminer is one of the most characteristic varieties and reaches its finest expression in Alsace.
The 2020 vintage was greatly influenced by the sunny weather, as the clay terroir of the Riquewihr showed it's excellent resilience to drought. The resultant wine was beautifully fully bodied, yet balanced.
Complex, intense aromas of musk, candied quince, orange zest, marmalade and acacia honey. On the palate it is harmonious, creamy and full with a richness that lingers on the finish whilst retaining a freshness with it's zippy acidity.
