Slightly perfumed, with ripe melon fruit on the nose. The palate is weighty and ripe but remains fresh and saline. This is the perfect example of the right grapes grown in the right terroir.
You've probably heard it before, but Picpoul really is the 'next big thing' and this is very good example at an easy-drinking price. As the grapes for this wine are grown only a stone's throw from oyster leases in Étang de Thau bay it is a perfect match for oysters, mussels, and grilled fish. Alternatively, you could just drink on its own...
