Riesling
75cl * 8% ABV * Mosel, Germany
Prüm undoubtedly offers some of the finest wines in the Mosel. Founded in 1911 by Johann Josef Prüm, the estate has developed a reputation for premium level Rieslings, which display an extraordinary purity of fruit and distinctive minerality.
This medium-dry Riesling offers some of the best of the Mosel. A very expressive and intense nose of peach, rose, citrus and steely aromas. There is also a smoky gun flint note and a hint of white pepper. Very complex. The palate is very juicy, this is the freshest of the three Kabinetts and the vibrant acidity is really mouth-watering. The finish is long and moreish with lovely stone and orchard fruit and cool minerals.

"This smells like walking into a high-class store, where a huge basket of peaches and nectarines is standing on the counter. Super-elegant and precise with a spot on balance of racy acidity, wet stone minerality and delicate fruit. Very long and pristine finish. Drink or hold." 95 points, James Suckling
