Sebastián Zuccardi aims to produce unique Argentinian wines that express regional terroir within Tupungato - the northernmost sub-region of the Uco Valley. This swathe of land is one of the most important for the production of quality wine in the whole of Mendoza, the powerhouse wine region of Argentina. Made just like Champagne, with the second fermentation happening in the bottle, this offers crisp, attractive notes of pear and green apple, as well as citrus and a slight toastiness to the finish (from 30 months on its lees). Dry and crisp, it makes for an excellent aperitif or is best enjoyed with light fish/shellfish dishes.
