Chateau Les Ormes de Pez is one of St-Estephe's leading Cru Bourgeois properties. It is owned and run by Jean-Michel Cazes who is also managing director of Chateau Lynch-Bages. They have 32 hectares of vineyards, which lie on soils that are rich in gravel on a subsoil of sand and clay. The grapes are hand-harvested and then fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats.
This is a truly fabulous wine, from an exceptional vintage and should be relished. Concentrated and velvety, with mulberry and blackberry fruit and ripe, silky tannins. The finish is long, silky and harmonious. Indulge and enjoy every sip.
