Rich, textured and fresh - half of this wine is aged in oak, giving lovely layers of complexity ranging from crisp minerality to spicy hazelnut butter. There is plenty of fruit, peaches and nectarines, to go with a delightful acacia flower note and a slightly savoury finish. This is fantastic with shellfish risotto, veal cutlets or the local Bourgogne goats cheese.
