Copperfield London Dry Gin from the Surrey Copper Distillery was set up by antique book collectors Dr Christopher and Professor Katherine Smart. Their gin is handcrafted in small batches in a copper pot still using a blend of botanicals inspired by historical recipes discovered in library archives with packaging inspired by the Dickens' classic novel, David Copperfield.
Juniper-led and exceptionally smooth, this makes for an excellent winter G&T with its traditional winter spice notes and subtle hints of bitter orange. Botanicals include Juniper Berries, Orris Root, Angelica, Liquorice, Coriander, Lemon Peel, Cloves, Star Anise, Cinnamon, Sage, Rosemary, Wormwood and Bitter Orange Peel making a fragrant and elegant gin.
The distillers recommended that Volume Three is served over ice with Hibiscus Tonic water and garnished with an orange slice and raspberries.
