The Clos de la Cure has been in the Bouyer family for over seven generations. Under the auspices of Alexia and Pierre, the domaine has taken an ecological approach to the running of the vineyards and practices 'reasoned viticulture' - herbicides are no longer used and cover crops are planted between the rows of vines, many of which are 25-30 years old. Ripe and jammy with bramble fruit and spice oak (it spends 12-15 months in barrel), its powerful palate is complemented by a herbal-driven finish. Pair with leg of lamb or a typical Sunday roast.
