In 2021, Zuccardi was voted best winery and vineyard in the world for the third consecutive year and in 2022 won New World Winery of the Year, which explains their multiple inclusions on our shelves. One of many Malbecs in their stable, Los Olivos was made in order to showcase the more mineral style that the cool Uco Valley produces: ample plum and blackberry notes are given complexity by a savoury, peppery finish. A previous vintage was named as the "Best Buy Malbec" by John Clarke of The Independent (14th Jan 2020) who said "Our best buy is Los Olivos from the prize-winning Zuccardi winery. Wonderfully smooth yet sprightly, it will improve the taste of any meal it accompanies".
