Founded in 1821 and still family-owned today, Barbadillo is one of Sanlúcar de Barrameda’s leading names. Their Cream Sherry is a perfect blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez, aged for around eight years in the traditional solera system. Deep mahogany in colour, it shows aromas of raisins, roasted nuts, and toffee, lifted with hints of brioche and oak. On the palate, it is smooth and silky with gentle sweetness, sustained by a long finish.
Cream Sherry is one of the most versatile sweet wines - enjoy it lightly chilled as an aperitif (even over ice), or pair it with food. It works beautifully with Manchego, toasted almonds, or olives, and is a great match for desserts.
