Pinot Noir
75cl * 13.5% ABV * Thracian Valley, Bulgaria
Edoardo Miroglio - a textile manufacturer in Italy - always dreamt of making Pinot Noir in Piemonte. Once he realised just how expensive this would be, he reconsidered his options and found that Bulgaria's Thracian Valley shares a similar soil and climate to Burgundy. This has that quintessential, evocative Pinot aroma: cherry and strawberry show in spades alongside sous bois, cinnamon and sandalwood notes. Lithe and silky on the palate, it competes with what you get from France at double the price.
