Moscatel del Grano Menudo

Only 2,285 bottles of this Coleccion 125 dessert wine were produced, using the best Moscatel de Grano Menudo grapes, which were over-ripened on the vine in the El Candelero vineyard, which was planted in 1969. The vines are hand-picked between October and December and the must is fermented naturally in French oak barrels. No wonder this vintage scored 92 points from celebrated wine critic Robert Parker.
Excellent potential for aging, but why not drink this now, served chilled to about 10C. Pair the fresh, light, candied peel and blossom flavours with a savoury appetiser or with fruit-based desserts.
