One of the leading wineries of Western Australia's Margaret River, Cape Mentelle have established themselves as the progenitors of Australian Sauvignon/Semillon blends. This is a distinctive wine that manages to accentuate the remarkable character of both varieties: the intense aroma and flavour of Sauvignon with the weight and texture of Semillon. Plenty of ripe tropical fruit with just a hint of grassy, edginess on the finish. Crisp and very moreish. Drink these where you might reach for a Chardonnay - with white meat, spring vegetables and seafood.
