Sauvignon Blanc
75cl * 13% ABV * Marlborough, New Zealand
Jackson Estate has been quietly handcrafting beautiful wines in Marlborough for over 25 years. The first vines were planted on the estate by the Stichbury family who have farmed the land on Jackson’s Road for over 160 years. All of the fruit is Estate grown which allows for complete control and enables high quality grapes to be further enhanced by Matt Patterson-Green’s minimal intervention, winemaking style.
Fruit for this Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from three estate vineyards on the Central Wairau Plain and in the Waihopai sub regions. The nose dominates with complex florals, ripe stone fruits and fresh zesty citrus. On the palate there's the same fresh citrus and ripe white stone fruit flavours, an underlying lees-driven textural backbone and a pure mineral concentration. A perfectly balanced and crunchy acidity gives the wine lift, presence and poise.
