Domaine Etienne Sauzet owns some of the 'great' vineyards of Burgundy - including Les Combettes in Puligny and Bienvenues in Batard - and winemaker Benoit Riffault is now firmly established in his role and continues to impress year-after-year. 2019 has gone down as a truly exceptional vintage, managing to combine freshness and finesse with a saline minerality, mouthwatering extract and intensity. Largely this comes from three estate-owned parcels in Puligny: savoury and fresh with some lovely bright fruit, there is good weight and texture here for an 'entry-level' Bourgogne Blanc. Drink from 2022-2026+.
