Alex Moreau, is a new generation of winemaker in Burgundy, having officially taken over from his father in 2021. Formally, named Domaine Bernard Moreau, after Alex's father, it was the joint effort of Bernard, Alex and Alex's brother, Benoit in the early 2000s that established this Domaine as one of the small but serious winemakers of Burgundy. 

What makes Alex a new generation of Burgundian style is the commitment to serious studies in viticulture and winemaking and then a CV that boasts winemaking around the world. The Burgundians are producing winemakers with international pedigree and their wines speak for themselves. His philosophy is for hands-off winemaking, whilst still keeping a keen eye over the estate, vines and wine. Expect a wonderful wine with both structure and vibrancy.
