Join us at Taurus Wines at Whipley Manor Farm for an exclusive evening of food and wine in the private and unique setting of our beautifully renovated, 400-year-old barn in the heart of the Surrey Hills, which is transformed into a banqueting hall for the evening.
With over 20 years’ experience in the wine industry, Taurus Wines has forged a close relationship with many wine producers and leading industry figures. In celebration of this, for our Winemaker Feasts we welcome an esteemed winemaker, producer, ambassador or even a Master of Wine to talk us through a selection of their wines.
For this event, join us and Jane Sowter, who ran Château Musar from the late 1980s until very recently, when she became their international brand ambassador. It's safe to say, there's probably nothing about the wines that she doesn't know! She'll be showing off some excellent vintages, with at least six wines served to you on the night, including an aperitif and something to round the evening off.
Meanwhile, a bespoke menu is created by our neighbours Tandem Catering, to perfectly match the wines presented. On arrival you will enjoy a welcome glass and canapés followed by a three-course tasting menu. From aperitif to cheese course, each dish has been carefully chosen to complement the wine. As you dine, you will be told the story behind each bottle: its origins, tasting notes and techniques.

These intimate dinners are limited to a maximum of 20 people, so if you'd like to bring any wine-loving friends, secure your tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

Cancellation policy: We cannot reserve places at wine tastings without payment. We always understand when circumstances change, however due to excessive cancellations in the past (which sadly led to us having to stop running our Wine School) we now have this policy in place: If you cancel up to one week before the event we will issue a full refund; between one week and 48 hours before the event, we will issue a full refund, but only if we can resell your ticket at full face value; we cannot offer a refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event.
