Many winemakers in Italy aim to produce at least two-to-three bottles from each vine, but Renieri feels that in order to make the finest wine it should average only one bottle. This explains the richness at the core of this Brunello.

The 2019 vintage for Brunello is getting the wine world very excited - and if you're interested in reading the full vintage report, you can do so here. In brief, it's up there with 2010, 2015 and 2016. 

This exceptional Brunello from Renieri di Montalcino is deeply intense, with an inky ruby-red colour. It has a broad bouquet that opens up with ripe fruit, such as prunes, followed by small fruits such as currants and blueberry. Balsamic hints introduce spicy notes completed by a minerality. The palate reveals grippy tannins balanced by a strong yet not excessive alcoholic component. It has a well-balanced acidity and a finish that grows in flavour.

We will be shipping this Brunello direct from the producer with an expected arrival date of February 2024, hence this pre-shipping offer price.
