Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot

A blend of predominantly Sangiovese with a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Pactio spends four months in mainly new French oak barrels followed by a period of ageing in the bottle, helping the wine to soften. A deep ruby-red in colour, the bouquet is ripe and intense with red fruit, black pepper, balsamic, bay leaf and hints of vanilla. On the palate Pactio is open and expressive, showing delicious notes of ripe cherry on well balanced tannins and a long finish.
Pair with cured meats, game, poultry and aged cheeses.
