Paul Boutinot, the founder of Boutinot wines, is coming to Taurus to talk to us all about where his passion lies - the wines of South Africa.
Having founded one of the largest wine agencies in the world (he started importing wine for his father's restaurant back when a van across the Channel was legal!) in 1980, Paul now has time to dedicate his life to growing as well as selling wine. Waterkloof vineyard has long been a favourite of ours, and Paul's son Louis often visits to extol its virtues.
From crisp Sauvignon Blanc and fruity Chenin Blanc, through rare Mourvedre rosés to the rounded and smooth Merlots and Cabernet Sauvignons, there's something for everyone from this organic and sustainable vineyard. Paul's wines will be perfectly paired with canapés and three courses from Tandem Catering, here in our beautiful converted barn.
We will be limiting the event to a maximum of 18 people, so if you'd like to bring any wine-loving friends, secure your tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

Cancellation policy: We cannot reserve places at wine tastings without payment. We always understand when circumstances change, however due to excessive cancellations in the past (which sadly led to us having to stop running our Wine School) we now have this policy in place: If you cancel up to one week before the event we will issue a full refund; between one week and 48 hours before the event, we will issue a full refund, but only IF we can resell your ticket at full face value; if you cancel with less than 48 hours before the event, I'm afraid we won't be able to refund ticket.
