From a rather lovely spot between Saint Julien and Margaux, and planted on gravelly soils, the vines at Château Beaumont are renowned for giving textbook, silky clarets, with excellent structure thanks to the dominance of the Cab Sauv in the blend.

Fragrant and fresh on the nose with some red cherry and plum as well as darker berries. Refreshing and pure, with plenty of perfume. Silky style of fruit on the palate then a lifted mineral finish. The 2022 vintage really excelled. Conditions in 2022, combined with improved work in the vineyards and the cellar, have resulted in a wine that maintains a very pure Bordeaux character, but with no hard edges.
