To celebrate the long-time partnership of Huia Vineyards and New Zealand fashion designer Kate Sylvester, this Estate Grown Sparkling Rosé Brut is dressed in a delicate modernist rose print from one of Kate Sylvester’s stunning collections called “Frances”. This collection was designed to pay homage to NZ artist, Frances Hodgkins.
The 100% organic Pinot Noir grapes are all handpicked and the juice is fermented in French oak barrels, before being blended into a large French oak vat. The wine has been aged on its lees for 14 months before being hand riddled and disgorged on site at Huia Vineyards. The wine has a delicate pink hue, with subtle aromas of wild strawberry, cherry and a creamy brioche. The palate is fresh, pure and elegant, with a fabulously fine mousse and a lovely crisp finish.
Pairs well with goats cheese platters, saffron risotto and sea salt crisps.
