Van Zellers & Co was officially established in 1780 as an exporter of Port. Jump forward nearly 250 years and family member Christiano Van Zeller now creates this unique dry white wine in the Douro region of Portugal. This is such a fascinating wine of many contrasts: Fermented and aged in new French oak, the nose explodes with spicy toast, with some smokiness and honey notes. However, the wine is underpinned with elegant citrus fruit, green apple and a grassy herbal note. Enjoy with seafood, fresh fish and grilled white meats. (Team Taurus tasted March 2022)
