Founded in 1820 in the Douro Valley by William and John Graham, and now in the exceedingly good Symington Family stable, Graham's have long been the pinnacle Port house. Fine, well-matured vintage Port is one of life's greatest pleasures and this is no exception: powerful and muscular this was always going to be a long-lived vintage. Graham's 1983 is widely regarded as the best of the bunch that vintage. Still remarkably ripe, plummy and inky, it is showing an explosion of black fruit flavour alongside spice and menthol. Decant carefully. Drink to 2025.
